Michelle Anne Burgett

September 29, 1969 - August 10, 2015

Michelle was a strong and bright woman. She graduated from SCC in 1999 with honors. She went on to build her career in medical coding and billing. Aside from her degree and many certificates she was very intelligent and exceeded the expectations within her career. Michelle and Corey Burgett were soul mates, best friends, and each other’s rock. Their star struck relationship begin in 1992 and were married Valentine’s Day of 2003. After a 4 year long battle with stage 4 cancer, Michelle passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She is loved by so many and remembered by all who met her. Michelle is survived by her husband Corey Burgett; parents John and Edette Mitchell; brother Shawn; daughter Kristin Mitchell; grandchildren Christian and Leah; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and Michelle’s many close friends.
