Matthew Jeffrey Kurkowski, age 67, passed away February 19, 2023, in Spokane, Washington. He was born August 10, 1955, to George T Kurkowski and Margaret J Kurkowski in Billings, MT. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Gladys and Matt Kurkowski of Forsyth, MT, his father George T Kurkowski of Forsyth, MT, his brother Christopher Kurkowski (Traci) of Fort Hood, TX and his uncle Joseph Kurkowski of Forsyth, MT. Matt’s surviving relatives include his wife Rita Kurkowski of Kellogg, ID, his sons Matthew C. Kurkowski (Amber) of Spokane Valley, WA, Kevin J Kurkowski of Greely, CO, Ryan J. Kurkowski of Kellogg, ID, his daughters Sarah J Davis of Spokane Valley, WA, Jennifer Davis of Kellogg, ID, his grandkids, Emily R Davis of Spokane Valley, WA, Carmela C Garcia of Kellogg, ID, Ronald L Mason of Spokane Valley, WA and Ronan M Kurkowski of Pinehurst, ID, his mother Margaret J Kurkowski of Forsyth, MT, his brothers Joseph Kurkowski (Ramona) of Billings, MT, Thomas Kurkowski (Paula) of Miles City, MT, his sister Jane Klapmeier (Joel) of Forsyth, MT, his special cousin Yvonne Becker of Laurel, MT, and his numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Matt had an adventurous spirit; he loved The Lord and his family. He loved outdoor adventures, artwork, hunting with his Uncle Joe in Montana, gardening and traveling. Matt had a great heart and made friends easily. He was an easy-going guy with a gentle spirit, and he will forever be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on March 31, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Pines Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Spokane Valley, WA.
