Obituary for Mark Andrews
Mark Richard Andrews, 33, of Newman Lake, Washington, was born in Seattle, Washington on September 23, 1984, and died suddenly and unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism in Cheney, Washington on November 26, 2017. Mark was raised in Seattle and Redmond, Washington and attended Northshore schools, graduating from Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, Washington. He moved with his family to Newman Lake, Washington and attended Spokane Community College and Eastern Washington University, where he majored in Drug and Alcohol Studies. After college, he started and ran his own business for several years. More recently he was employed at a food processing plant in Spokane and was a rancher/farmer with his fiance, Casey Miller, in Cheney, Washington. He was thrilled to have found Casey and was very excited about their planned future of marriage, children and ranching. Mark faced serious medical challenges with grace and charm, never complaining. He is survived by his fiance, Casey Miller of Cheney, Washington, parents Richard and Terry Andrews of Newman Lake, Washington, brother Todd Andrews of Brooklyn, NY, sisters Christie Tinio (Rey) of Reno, Nevada and Stephanie Eaton (Ty) of San Diego, California, nieces Ashley Wix of Portland, Oregon and Lauren Andrews of Ashland, Oregon and nephew Chad Andrews of Ashland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Andrews. A Celebration of Marks Life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 5:00 oclock p.m., at the Tri-Community Grange, 25025 N. Starr Road, Newman Lake, Washington with Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Marks memory to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, Northwest Chapter, 9 Lake Bellevue Drive #203, Bellevue, WA 98005.
