On May 24, 2020, Lucas Swain moved on to a better place. Though Luke is finally at peace, he left behind many loved ones to grieve his loss. Born on August 24, 1979 in Spokane, Washington, Luke was a fun loving soul who was always up for a good time and a laugh. Attending school in his home town, Luke graduated from Ferris in 1998, making many lifelong friends along the way. Luke loved motorcycles, classic cars, and gangster movies, and was a huge fan of the outdoors and camping. After living in Hawaii for a brief time, Luke moved onto base following the birth of the joy of his life, his son Brayden. Luke made his way back to Spokane to receive a degree from SCC and open his own business. Luke was preceded in death by his father Douglas Swain. He will be greatly missed by his mother Janet, his brother Jacob and too many friends to name. The world will be a bit darker without Luke in it. We will miss him, we will grieve him, and we will move on with nothing but the fondest memories of a true friend, brother, son, father and so much more. Rest in Peace Luke.
