Linda Marie Belton

March 13, 1950 - July 30, 2019

Linda Marie was welcomed into this world by her parents Vernon and Lillian Pearson on March 13, 1950 in Spokane, WA and left far too soon on July 30, 2019 while residing in Spokane. She was a homegrown, hometown girl of whom graduated from North Central H.S. with her twin brother, Gary in 1968. A First marriage gave Linda Marie two children who blessed her with two wonderful grandchildren. Daughter, Heather (Jack) blessed her life with grandson, Alec; her son, Mark (Emily) blessed her with grandson, Christopher. Linda Marie will always be there grandma Phu Phu! The time spent and the love she shared with her family was evident they were her #1 priority. Later in life she met and married Steve Belton of which started a 20yr love story. To read about their wonderful journey that began in 1999, please visit the website of Pacific NW Cremation. …. “My Love, I had just given up searching for you when.. there you were on the dance floor wearing that “girl camo” pure white pants with giant pink pokadots, I couldn’t take my eyes off of you. We danced twice at the end of the evening I knew you wouldn’t give me your number, so I gave you mine and you called me. Our first date I bought you a grilled cheese sandwich and a chocolate shake, you were working your shift @ Victoria’s Secret. You looked at me with tears in your eyes and said, “I can’t see you again, you swear too much. After much pleading you finally said yes and we have been together ever since that day. In 1999 Linda Marie accepted my marriage proposal and made me the happiest I’ve ever been. We have had so many great discoveries on the bike – seems there isn’t a road we haven’t traveled. On June 5, 2019, I got to celebrate 20 years of marriage with my Love. I once said to her brother, Dan, “she is the only person I know that has never made a single enemy in life”. It floored him! Certainly, we can’t this about to many people. My Love, I’m going to try and go on without you even though it seems pointless. Bella still guards the door to your room and ever faithful, Elvis isn’t doing well so I’m keeping a close eye on him. Spencer is doing his best to keep them both going and prodding them to get up and move. I’ll keep loving on your babies for you. You have certainly taught me what “love” is in how you treated others. When we married you gave 100% of your heart, my Love. I have never felt so loved and I know I can never have this kind of tender love again. I miss you so much, but also know you are needed in Heaven. I Love you, my sweet Linda Marie…Steven Ray. There will be a Celebration of Life on August 17, 2019 @ 12:30 at the Pines Mausoleum. Please wear smoothing red in Linda’s honor.
