Linda Kelly

August 21, 1942 - December 28, 2018

Linda Marie Kelly, long time resident of the Spokane Valley, passed away the 28th of December of 2018 at Valley Hospital. Born August 21, 1942 in Helena, Montana to Walter and Vivian Brisbin. Linda attended school in Three Forks until the family moved to Great Falls where she graduated her senior year. In 1964 she married Ken Kelly. In 1969 they adopted a son, Daniel Michael and the next year they adopted a daughter, Debra Anne. In 1970 she moved to Bozeman to attend Nursing School where she received her LPN degree. In 1972 Linda and her two young children moved to Spokane to begin her career at Sacred Heart Medical Center where she spent nearly 30 years. Throughout her life, she enjoyed ice fishing with her Dad, camping, family reunions, gardening and canning, and playing cribbage. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed and remembered by her whole family. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Walter (Bud) and Vivian Brisbin. She is survived by her son Dan, daughter Debra, and grandchildren, Hannah and Sam, Sisters Carol Lesiak of Chester, Mt. and Donna (Harry) Hixson, of Spokane Valley and a brother Mike (Carol) Brisbin of Prescott Valley, Az. She also left behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. At her request there will be no services held. A memorial may be held in Montana at a later date.
