Laura E Titus

November 12, 1924 - December 22, 2021

Laura (Age 97) was born on November 12, 1924, to Gust & Leona Lunden in Kootenai, ID. Laura passed away on December 22, 2021. Growing up, Laura and her family lived in Colville, WA, and then moved to Spokane. Her father was a Logger and a Carpenter, and her mother was a homemaker. After high school, Laura attended a local dance and met a young Naval Officer named Keith Titus. The two would marry on June 3, 1944, and go on to have 4 children. Laura also has 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Laura worked as a grocery store clerk and as a waitress, and Keith was in the dairy business working for Arden Dairy, Carnation, and Darigold. Laura loved raising her kids and spending all the holidays together. After her children were grown, Laura and Keith had plenty of time to travel. She has been to Europe, Florida, Hawaii, New York, Pennsylvania, Apache Junction, Lake Havasu, Mexico, and Canada. In retirement years they joined the Good Sam Camper Club and became snowbirds traveling South every Winter with a group of friends. - Some of Laura’s other hobbies have been Pinochle, gardening, Rummy, sewing, Scrabble, snow skiing, Mexican Train Dominos, water skiing (she was top of the pyramid on the water), Hearts, socializing, and FAMILY. - Laura is survived by her children Linda (Bob) Hughes, Carol (Steve) Brumbaugh, and Diane Titus. She is preceded in death by her husband Keith, son Titus, brothers Sid and Gaylord Lunden, and her sister and brother-in-law Frances and Dale Kelly. - There will be a memorial gathering announced at a later date.
