On Sunday, May 21, 2017 we lost a great man. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away from pneumonia peacefully at Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane, Washington, surrounded by his family. He was 67. Larry was a charismatic man who loved to whistle and make people smile and laugh. Besides being with family and friends Larry loved fishing, camping and being outdoors. Larry was also very passionate about talking and educating people about organ donation and transplantation since he received a heart transplant 27 years ago. Larry is survived by his wife Denise of 41 years, sons Chris, Andy, Geoff and Doug (Erin), sister Judy Silva in Oregon and brother Robert Derrickson in California. He was also a very proud grandfather of 5, Lily, Iris, Veda, Oskars and Otis. Larry's memorial service will be Saturday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. It'll take place at Unity Spiritual Center 2900 S. Bernard, Spokane, WA 99203 Any memorial contributions in his honor can be made to Unity Spiritual Center as well.
