Justin Jay Ellery

June 17, 1985 - August 31, 2016

Justin Jay Ellery died unexpectedly at home on August 31, 2016. Justin had been fighting a battle with Pyoderma Gangrenosm for over two years, and his heart gave way to bacterial endocarditis. Justin is the beloved of Jenalee Jean Hall and his sons Shadrach Robert Joktan and Laythan Josiah Jay. Justin was born on June 17, 1985 in Spokane, WA. He grew up in the Spokane area and graduated from Ferris High School. He loved to bead, fish and play basketball. He was very artistic and drew some phenomenal pictures. People admired Justin for his talent but always talked about his HEART and how big it was. He loved life and wasn’t worried about status. Known to some as “Elbow”, he played a mean game of cards. Justin graduated from Spokane Falls Community College, Summer 2014, with his degree as an Orthotics and Prosthetics Technician. He made some amazing pieces while in school and enjoyed his internship at Thompson Orthotics. Justin was a loving husband, son, brother, father and friend. He is survived by his wife, Jenalee; children Shadrach and Laythan; his mother Paula (Dale); only sister Danielle; brothers Michael (Leah), Jared (Kym), Dale Jr., Dillon and his baby brother Austin. He is also survived by MANY aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held to honor Justin’s life on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Southside Church of Christ, 1225 E. Newark (corner of Newark and Denver on lower South Hill near Perry and 7th). Community Cremation & Funeral Spokane Valley - 13127 E.
