John T Mahoney

February 09, 1976 - January 28, 2022

MAHONEY, John T. John Mahoney was born February 9, 1976, to Tim and Shara Mahoney. He passed away unexpectedly on January 28, after - enduring medical issues for the past 15 years, just two weeks shy of his 46th birthday. John graduated from Rogers High - School in 1994, where he was a varsity wrestler for three years. He worked various retail and warehouse jobs including CoreMark and eventually retired from URM. John had a passion for cars, stereos, NASCAR, and college basketball. He loved watching the Zags both on TV and in person. He was able to attend several Gonzaga games every year, and it was - always a highlight for him. He loved playing cards with his family and eating homemade tacos. - He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dan Mahoney, John Blank, and Wilma Taylor. He is survived by his father Tim (Sandi) Mahoney; mother Shara Redmond; grandmother Norma Blank; brother Scot (Jackie) Mahoney; niece Kaitlyn Mahoney, nephews Daniel and Declan Mahoney; uncle John Blank Jr; Aunt Diane Doran; cousins Kris Doran and Stacie Swedberg; step-siblings Kerri (Chris) Page, Brandon Gerow and Courtney (Thor) Sanderson. The service will be Tuesday, February 8 at 1:00 pm, in the Sunset Chapel located in Fairmount Memorial Park (5200 W. Wellesley). Cremation services are provided by PNW Cremation & Funeral. John was an awesome son, brother, uncle, and a friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
