We are heartbroken to announce that our mother Jennifer “Jenny” Empert, 61, of Spokane, Washington, was taken back to Heaven on October 15th, 2022. She was born on June 26th, 1962 in Fontana, California. On that day, heaven lost an angel as God gave her to her mom, Barbara. In her short 61 years on earth, she touched many lives and inspired others to do better and to be better human beings. She always found the good in people and believed in second chances. Her love for education and children drove her to seek out a master’s degree in the childcare profession. This love started from the time she was eighteen and even continued until her passing. Her greatest joy was when she became a mother. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She had many friends and family who loved her immensely. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Barbara Fuqua and John Fuqua. She left behind her daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Scott Spinks of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and her son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Elizabeth Empert of Spokane, Washington. Her 7 grandkids are Nick, Kelli, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Daniel, Seth, and Harper, and her great-grandson Leonardo. She will be severely missed. In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life event will commence on June 26th, 2023.
