Jeff is survived by his parents Robert Lyman Sexton and Carol Diane Norris Sexton; his three brothers Trapper Montgomery Sexton (Paola) of Hong Kong, Gregory William Sexton (Alyse, her parents Bob and Sandy Pete, her sister Heather and brother-in-law Bill) of Sebastopol, CA, and Kirk Alexander Sexton of Spokane, WA; his sister Robyn Louise Sexton Denning (Mike and their children Sayla and Cabell) of Oostburg, WI; his beloved girlfriend Frankie McClure and her mother B.J.; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Dorothy Louise Miller Sexton and Grattan William Sexton of Spokane, WA as well as his maternal grandparents Frances Freeman Norris and William Warren Norris, Jr of Monroe, Louisiana.
Jeff graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 2002 (Honor Student, Track, Cross Country, Tennis) and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2006. Jeff’s favorite jobs included performing Quality Assurance with his brother Kirk’s game team at Electronics Arts in Redwood City, CA and serving the Spokane community as a valet for Towne Park at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Jeff enjoyed ice skating on the Spokane Ribbon, walking with family and friends through Manito Park, singing karaoke with his girlfriend Frankie, and playing online computer, board, and card games with his friends and family.
Jeff experienced a serious medical condition during the past two years. Jeff was blessed to be able to master the TobiiDynavox Eye and Voice Recognition Software and Computer which enabled him to manage his responsibilities; connect worldwide with friends, family and medical teams; and enjoy numerous online game, music, news, and entertainment sites. The Alexa Show and Facebook Messenger Video allowed Jeff to experience deep social connections during the COVID 19 pandemic with its resulting regulations which severely limited physical contact during his last year of life.
Jeff grew into a deeply loving, patient, considerate, appreciative, and direct man who taught others the nuances of caring for someone who required such total care. Jeff was grateful for the staff at Sacred Heart Medical Center (especially the Respiratory Therapy Staff), MultiCare Deaconess Hospital, and Providence Holy Family Hospital; Samuel J. Tollman MD and Hakan Kaya MD at Cancer Care NW, and Vivian Moise MD and J. M Morrill MD at St Luke’s Rehabilitation Center for their care over the past two years.
