Jean Louise Boyd

June 25, 1952 - December 21, 2022

Jean Louise Boyd of Spokane, Washington passed away on December 21, 2022. She was born in New York City on June 25, 1952. After living in Washington Heights, NYC her family moved to Cresskill, New Jersey, when Jean was nine years old. She later moved to the west coast making her way through Vancouver, BC, Palo Alto, California, Bellingham, WA and eventually making Spokane, Washington her home in 2002. - Jean was a talented artist, writer, and a loving and nurturing mother. Her paintings and beautiful cards are treasured by her family. She loved visiting Cape Breton Island, where her mother grew up and owned a home on the ocean. Many wonderful summers were spent there. - Jean had a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by her family. Jean is survived by her two children Malcolm Andrew Boyd and Jesse Denise Kellett and her two grandchildren whom she adored very much, Greyson Phillip Boyd Hurd and Brandon Andrew Search. She is also survived by her siblings Susan Boyd, Robert Boyd, Thomas Boyd, Edward Boyd, and Howard Boyd. - A memorial for Jean will be held early 2023 where her ashes will join her mother, Catherine Boyd and her sister, Diana Boyd in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. -
