August 17, 1952 - October 21, 2013
DAHL, Geraldine ""Jill"" Beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, Geraldine ""Jill"" Dahl conceded her fierce battle with cancer in the early hours of October 21, 2013. Jill was born August 17, 1952 to Albert Vosler Dahl and Geraldine Teresa Dahl. She grew up with her brother, Gary, and sisters, Gloria and Gayle on the family farm near Amber. Jill went to Amber School for eight years and then bussed into Cheney High. After high school, Jill went to work for the phone company in Spokane as an operator. On December 22, 1977 she married Greg Siverly. Greg and Jill adopted two children, Aaron Lewis and Crystal Kinsey. Greg and Jill were divorced shortly after her mother's death. Jill retired from the phone company and went to work for Allegro, a non-profit as the operations manager. She left her job at Allegro and gave up her ambition to be a bartender, to train as a phlebotomist. She subsequently worked in client services at PAML. Jill had lots of energy and ideas. While she was working she earned a Bachelor's degree at Whitworth in International Business. One of her dreams was realized when she purchased her home on Grand and opened it up as Geraldine's, a bed and breakfast. Special thanks to Gloria, and Mike and a few other friends who helped her family near the end of her life. Jill is survived by her daughter, Crystal and son, Aaron, her brother, Gary, sister, Gayle, and many nieces and nephews. Jill loved her family, friends, cooking, traveling, gambling, cigar smoking and life.
