Fulton Gregory Gilson, known his entire life as Greg, died in Spokane, WA after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was 68 years old. Greg was born on March 13, 1952 in Sioux City, IA to Carol Dean “Gil” Gilson and Joyce Gilson. His childhood was spent in Nebraska and Iowa, but his family moved to Reseda, CA before he was 10. Greg was a Vietnam Vet, serving with the United States Air Force for six years. During this time, he met his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Pat. They married on June 3, 1972 at McClellan Air Force Base, Sacramento, CA. They have two daughters. Residing most of his adult life in Southern California, Greg retired from the Motion Picture Industry where he worked for 25 years as a Transportation Captain. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 399. Over the years, he worked on countless TV shows and movies, he drove everything from motorcycles to 18 wheelers, and he worked all over the country. In his spare time, he loved woodworking and furniture refinishing, he was an avid fisherman and boater, he was a huge NASCAR fan, and he loved a good party with his family and friends. For the past 20 years, Greg and Mary Pat resided in Kettle Falls, WA. Greg is survived by his wife Mary Pat, two daughters and sons-in-law: Bridget & Pat Sullivan and Carol “Charlie” & Victor Cisneros, six grandchildren: Gregory, Jacob, & Caitlin Sullivan and Lester, Cindy, and Alberto Cisneros, and six great-grandchildren: Amelia, Carter, Harper Sullivan, and Abigail, Brevin, and Austin Cisneros.
