Fred Mallory Hutchinson

November 27, 1951 - September 23, 2018

Fred was born in Spokane, WA, November 27, 1951, and went home with our Lord Jesus Christ on September 23, 2018 after winning a long battle of cancer. He has had a place in all our hearts and his solid faith made a difference in many lives. He truly lived what he believed and treasured our Lord Jesus with all his heart, soul, mind and strength. He encouraged and nourished his family with the words of truth and love of Jesus Christ as our Savior. He had personal experiences with the Lord and shared it with many. Fred married his high school sweet heart, January 23, 1971, before graduating from Riverside High school May 1971. He enjoyed driving truck across the U.S. all his life, providing for his family; he embraced the Lord’s outdoors being adventurous with family and friends; raising and training horses with his parents as a youth; riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, boating, hunting, fishing, camping, flying his ultralight and traveling around the Northwest and seeing all the National Parks. He said he would never travel abroad as you could never see all of the Northwest sights. He was a member for 15 years and served a 10 year term as an Elder with the Clayton Community Church. He represented his co-workers at URM as a union rep for about 10 years. He had a record of over 20 years of accident free driving. He supported his family in all their endeavors and loved each of them. The Lord is now saying “Well done, thy good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of thy Lord.” Fred was preceded in death by his younger brother Fredrick; his parents, Roy M. & Ellen L. Hutchinson; paternal grandparents, Fred & Eva Hutchinson; and maternal grandmother Mary A. Pratt. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda (Malmoe) Hutchinson of 47 years residing at Clayton, WA; their two sons, Fred Michael (Trixie) Hutchinson, Clayton, WA and Jeffrey Matthew (Bridgett) Hutchinson, Boise, ID; nieces they raised that are like daughters, Amy (Pastor Craig) Phillips, Deer Park, WA, and Gene’ Gonzales (Arbert), Parma, OH; grandchildren Dany (Mike) Wayne, Spokane, WA, Brittany (Matt) Kish, Deer Park, WA, Gabriel Hutchinson & Kassadi Hutchinson, Clayton, WA, Alex Lappek, Hunter Lappek, Maximus Hutchinson & Savannah Hutchinson all of Boise, ID, Sophia & Sienna Phillips, Deer Park, WA, Hope & Noah Gonzales, Parma, OH; four great grandchildren; they also raised a neighborhood boy that adopted us, Mathew Beecher, KS; sister Madge Murray, Plummer, ID; brother Roy (Nancy) Hutchinson, Wichita, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Sunset Chapel, Fairmont Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane, WA, Friday October 5, 2018, at 1:00 pm.
