Francine Denise Osborne

July 06, 1945 - July 18, 2018

Francine “Fran”Osborne, 73, of Airway Heights, WA died at home on July 18, 2018. Born July 6, 1945 in Philadelphia PA; she is preceded by her parents , Albert and Rita (Iannelli) DiFabio and her late husband of 38 years, Gerald Osborne, Sr. Fran worked in banking, and later in life, volunteered in the City of Airway Heights. She was instrumental in keeping the recreation programs running when these programs were eliminated and led to getting these programs started again in the city. She took over the food bank plus helped with the Senior Lunch program and sat on the Senior Advisory Commission as well as the Parks Advisory Board. Fran was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved and cared for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her children as well as grandchildren and helped raised her grandson, Alexander. She was truly a second mother (more than grandmother) to Alexander. Survivors include her younger brother Ralph DiFabio of New Jersey and other family members on the east coast. She is survived by her three children; Sydney Osborne of Spokane WA, Rita Osborne of Airway Heights WA, and Gerald “Jerry”Osborne of Spokane, WA as well as granddaughters Kristine Osborne and Samantha (Osborne) Chapman, grandson Alexander Adams, and four great grandchildren. Fran you are loved by many and will be missed. Thank you for being our mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
