Frances "Jeanne" Stanek

July 17, 1927 - October 29, 2016

Frances Jeanne Stanek of Spokane Valley, WA passed away at the age of 89+ October 29, 2016. She was born July 17, 1927 in Kelso, WA to Bedford and Helen Stanley. She grew up in Toledo, WA and graduated from the Toledo High School in 1944. She married Joe Stanek in Centralia, WA, March of 1974 and moved to Spokane Valley in October 1977. Jeanne and Joe were active members of the Spokane Valley Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was musical and played piano, cornet, and sang. She crocheted, knitted and made ceramics and other crafts. She had a large collection of dolls and bears. She had a variety of dogs throughout her life that she dearly loved. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Joe and three children: John Buck, Judy, and Danny Oller. Jeanne is survived by one daughter Linda (Oller) Schoepflin (Bill) of Farmington, WA; one stepson Michael Stanek (Chris) of Spokane, WA; one brother Dan Stanley (Sandi) of Longview, WA; five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
