GRUSZKA, Emily K. (Age 36) Emily K. Gruszka was called to Our Lord on June 29th, 2014. She was born on September 6th, 1977 in Starbuck, Minnesota. The family moved back to the Spokane area in 1980, where she attended Jefferson Elementary, Sacajawea Junior High, and graduated from Ferris High School and Spokane Falls Community College in the same year on the Running Start program. She continued her education at the University of Washington. She was married to Michael Gruszka and later to Josh Gallagher with whom she gave birth to her son Logan who is now 12 years old. She is survived by Logan; her best friend, Zachery Lewis; her brother, Todd McCoy and his wife Katie; parents, Michael and Julie McCoy all of Spokane WA. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on July 8th, at 2:00 PM at the Fairmont Memorial Chapel at 5200 W. Wellsley Avenue, Spokane WA 99205.
