SCHOER, Earl C. (age 86) - Earl went home to be with the Lord, March 9, 2015. He was born in Hardin, MT, on June 24, 1928. He attended school there and excelled at football and basketball. After graduating high school, Earl joined the U.S. Navy and served 2 years. Upon returning home, he attended Montana State University where he started on both the football and basketball teams. After college, Earl moved to Spokane and worked for the U.S. Post Office for 8 years. He then worked for Bonneville Power Administration for the next 31 years, retiring as the Operations and Maintenance Manager for the Upper Columbia area; with over 41 years of Federal Government Service to his credit. Earl really enjoyed golf, bowling, and horseshoe pitching, and was an avid reader. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille and brother, Wallace. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia; daughters, Jan and Linda; two wonderful grand-children, Brandon and Melinda; sister-in-law, Lorraine; nephew, Gary (Cathie); and nieces, Marilyn and Denise (John).
