Douglas C. Eddy, Sr.

August 01, 1935 - February 06, 2017

Douglas C. Eddy, Sr., from Spokane, WA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 6th. He was born on August 1st, 1934. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lillian D. Eddy and sister Sharon Stockman. They had 5 children together; Rebecca Diaz, Douglas Eddy, Jr. and wife Becky, Roger Eddy, Miles Eddy and wife Karen, and Bill Eddy with wife Sarah, all of Spokane. They together gifted 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren each of whom Douglas had a special relationship with. Douglas was a member of Greenacres Christian Church and volunteered for the church. He was so easy to get along with which made him so many friends throughout the community. You may have seen him handing out cookies and coffee at nearby rest stops. He was preceded in death by sister Lois Jean Eddy, and brothers Roy Eddy, and Roger Eddy. He was a wonderful man who was dearly loved by so many and will be missed beyond explanation. In lieu of donations please donate to: www.gofundme.com/del-eddys-survival-fund.
