Douglas Bacheller

February 22, 1933 - October 19, 2018

Reverend Douglas O. Bacheller (85 years young) was born on February 22, 1933 and on October 19, 2018, he was taken home to be with The Lord. He lived a long and dedicated life for God as a Pastor, loving husband, father and grandfather. He built Living Hope Community Church (previously known as East Broadway Wesleyan Church) where he pastored for many years and was still an active member. Doug was one of the founding partners of General Industries, Inc. where he worked as a general contractor for the past 32 years. He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Mudget) Bacheller of 65 years of marriage, his sons David (Charis) Bacheller of Champaign, IL, Timothy (Sharon) Bacheller of Spokane, WA, Steven (Geri) Bacheller, of Otis Orchards, WA, Two grandchildren Breahna “Bre” (Nick) Hinton, Joshua (Emily) Bacheller, great grandchild Amelia Hinton, siblings Alan (Dolores) Bacheller, LeRoy (Eileen) Bacheller, Linda Folkestad (Bob Brewer), Bernie (Kyra) Bacheller, brother-in-law Nolan Jones and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Willard Bacheller, mother Naomi (Wedlock) Bacheller and sister, Ruth Jones. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 2 p.m. at Valley Real Life, 1831 S Barker Road, Greenacres, WA 99016
