Doris Marie Headrick

November 24, 1931 - August 14, 2013

HEADRICK, Doris (Markell) November 24, 1931 - August 14, 2013 Doris was born in Veradale, WA to Cecil and Faith Markell. She lived in Spokane since 1940 and attended Hamilton Elementary and John Rogers High School. She died peacefully at Hospice House after a brief illness. For more than 20 years Doris spent the winter months in Tecopa Hot Springs, CA. She had many friends from all around the country. Loving laughter; giving, sharing, loving and caring were a joyful part of her life. She could always recall a story to share to make someone smile. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling, writing, golf and her ability to be helpful to friends and neighbors. Doris is survived by her brother Roger and his wife Akie of Kennewick and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Stan, parents and four siblings.
