Donald Wayne Marshall

January 21, 1931 - July 04, 2015

Don was born in Parma, ID on January 21st, 1931 to Beulah Olsen (2005) and Wayne Marshall (1969); he passed away July 4th, 2015 in Spokane, WA at the age of 84. He married the love of his life Thelma (Marcum) Marshall in 1956 and had five children. - Don also served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956-1962. - He and his wife lived in Grand Coulee, WA for a few years until they moved to Spokane and later settled at Tum Tum, WA. After Thelma passed away in 1994, Don later moved back to Spokane where he worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad until he retired. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge in Grand Coulee, WA. Don loved to fish and camp, played pool (was once on a pool league), he used to go to the stock car races, and in his later years loved to tinker a 30 cent bet at the casino. Don passed away peacefully and went to spend eternity with his long-awaited wife in Heaven. They're together again. - Don is survived by four children: Cindy Jacobs, Brenda "Bernie" Totten, Sherilynn "Sheri" Linderman, and Bryan Marshall, all of Spokane. Don and Thelma had another son, Randall Jon, who lived to be only a month old. Don is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A wake will be conducted on August 2, 2015 at 11:00 at Mirabeau Meadows in Spokane Valley, WA. Any memorial donations can be made to the Hospice of Spokane.
