Delbert Norman Meyers, born in Spokane, WA, January 10, 1930, passed away on June 12, 2015. He graduated from North Central High school in 1948 and served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the trucking industry for the rest of his life until retiring in 2002. He was a member of St. Mary's parish in Spokane Valley. - Delbert was preceded in death by his father, Norman Meyers, mother, Marie Meyers, and sister, Jeannette McKinney. He is survived by 2 nieces, Teresa (Brandon) Stevens of Carson City, NV, and Kelly (Lyle) Carstens of Spokane Valley, WA; also 2 nephews, Bruce (Jeni) McKinney of Detroit Lake, OR, and Marty (Carol) McKinney of Marysville, WA. He was buried at St. Joseph's cemetery; no services will be held at the request of Delbert.
