David Nelson Perkins

March 12, 1945 - June 07, 2016

David was born on March 12, 1945 in Lewiston, ID to Ralph Wayne and Janette Mitchell Perkins. He passed away on June 7, 2016 in Spokane, WA. David graduated from the University of Idaho in June of 1968. David married his college sweetheart, Jennifer Henley, at Colfax, WA in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1971, which he was very proud of. While he was employed at the VA Hospital in Spokane, he enjoyed talking to the veterans there. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. David is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughters, Shannon and Tara Perkins; brothers, Don (Gail) and Louis (Sonja) Perkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. No services will be held. A private family burial will take place at the Lewiston Normal Hill Cemetery, Lewiston, ID. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spokane Humane Society, PO Box 6247, Spokane, WA 99217.
