Clifford Harvey Whiteaker

August 20, 1919 - March 31, 2016

Clifford H. Whiteaker, age 96, passed away on March 31, 2016 in Spokane, WA. He was born to Clifford James Whiteaker and Anna Elizabeth Sinner on August 20, 1919, in Kalama, WA. Graduating from from Kalama High School, Clifford went to Barber School and was a Barber for 30 years. He also served in the Coast Guard. He met and married Joyce Swantak, and they were married for 45 years. He loved camping, fishing and clam digging. Clifford is survived by his wife, Joyce Whiteaker; daughters, Judy Carter, Sherri Steiner (Bo), Sandy Ledbetter and Jeannie Thomas; sons, Jim Whiteaker and Mark Waddell; brother, Clyde Whiteaker (Joanne); grandchildren, Debbie Rosales (Cricket), Jim Whiteaker, Wes Whiteaker (Rona), Jessie Whiteaker (Jennifer), Christopher Whiteaker, Tracy Whiteaker, Rayanne Ledbetter, Joey Ledbetter, Austin and Colby Steiner, Garret, Logan, and Brittany Thomas. Clifford's grandchildren were very important to him. He was preceded in death by his sons, Dennis Whiteaker and Kim Whiteaker; brothers Bill Whiteaker and Royal Whiteaker; and his sister, Treva.
