Charles Gordon Adams

ADAMS, Charles Gordon (Age 85) - Charlie passed away peacefully on March 7, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born August 4, 1931 in Laona, WI to Charles and Ila Adams. His family moved to Orofino, ID when he was a young boy and he graduated from Orofino High School in 1949. Charlie attended Lewis and Clark State College on an athletic scholarship. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Trieste, Italy. Upon his return, he graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in marketing. He married Mary Ann Deyo in 1955 and they made their home in Spokane. Charlie worked the majority if his career in the pharmaceutical sales industry. He was known for his great chess game and his avid love of sports. Charlie is survived by his children Kayla (Cliff) Johnson, David (Ani) Adams, and Ginny (Brian) Moran; 6 grandchildren Ryan, Andy, Will, Brianna, Ben and Sam; 4 sisters Jeannie, Bonnie, Patricia and Jeanette; 2 brothers Tim and Bill, along with numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Mary. A celebration of Charlies life will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane WA 99210.
