Cecilia “Sis” Maryann Roth. (Trudeau, Delorme, Sauve) Cecilia was born December 24, 1926 to Isaac Joseph and Margaret Mary Trudeau in Stephen, Minnesota, first of nine children. She passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020 at the age of 93. She married Emery Napoleon Delorme on June 22, 1943 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Gentilly, MN. They lived and farmed on the Delorme homestead in Lake Pleasant Township. They had seven children (Emily, Diana, Evelyn, Karen, Allan, Stephen and Laurie). They lived in Lewiston, ID, Othello, WA, Ritzville, WA, and Spokane, WA, while he was an electrical lineman. They had one child (Kevin). They shared over 29 years before his death in 1994. Cecilia remarried in 1997 to Joseph Charles Roth and divorced in 2004. Cecilia was a devout Catholic, wonderful homemaker, and loved her large family. No matter where she lived, she always loved cooking for large groups and it always included plenty of dessert (cookies, cakes, pies, etc.). She loved staying connected to her family, was a great listener, and always gave advice and guidance when requested. Other hobbies included vegetable and flower gardening (many knew of her beautiful roses), sewing, knitting, embroidery, and playing games (especially cards and Yahtzee). Cecilia is survived by her eight children Emily Bell, Diana (George) Proulx, Evelyn Larson, Karen Kagele, Allan (Denise) Delorme, Stephen Delorme, Laurie (Melvin) Rees, and Kevin Sauve; 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; 3 siblings AliceAnn, Julian and Allan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and five siblings (Doris, James, Willard, Laurence and John). A Memorial Mass will be held May 25th, at 7:30am, by St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spokane Valley, WA, on their live stream website (stmaryspokane.org/live). At a later date, Cecilia’s ashes will be inurned in a plot at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Gentilly, MN, and a graveside blessing will be performed. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
