Bruce D Wolford

August 14, 1964 - August 31, 2022

Bruce David Wolford, a.k.a. Einstein meets Spicoli, passed away on August 31, 2022, with his family by his side. Bruce was 58. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 30 years, Mary. Bruce is survived by his mother Fran and father Norm, by his daughter Jennifer, sisters Tamara and Lisa, niece Taylor, nephew Austin and loyal dog Bender. Bruce attended schools in England, Virginia, New Mexico – including New Mexico Military Institute, and Washington—including Central Washington University. Bruce always enjoyed working with his hands and his mind. He loved model cars, airplanes, and enjoyed working on cars with his Dad. Bruce started riding a Honda CB100 at the age of 10, “from the first jump on the kickstart I was hooked”, from there he went onto motorcycles, jet skis, and a life long relationship with the internal combustion engine; inventing and patenting the Adjust-A-Thrust to increase jet ski speed, and the De Reamer, a tool for electricians, with his friend Dave. These tools were the beginning of Bruce’s company Wet Wolf Technology. When Bruce was not going 150 mph you could find him volunteering for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital Ski Fest, Making Christmas candles for friends and family with his wife Mary, playing chess, riding his motorcycle to the Hippie Store in Sand Point Idaho for his one of his iconic tie-dye shirts, camping throughout Washington State, gardening, or dancing, and singing karaoke – ideally with a Run & Coke. “Bruce showed me how to believe in myself”, “Bruce was the smartest, and funniest man I knew”, “Bruce always helped me”. At Bruce’s Celebration of Life Sep. 10th his family was comforted to hear these words from all his friends. Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever. We love you, and will miss you forever. Rest in peace.
