Brett Clifford Lineback

December 12, 1977 - June 13, 2022

Beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, and Friend, to rest on June 13, 2022. Brett was raised in the small farming community of Fairfield, WA and graduated from Liberty High School. He played football, wrestling, and was like Animal behind a drum set. After high school Brett took a job with Adams electric and started to hone his craft as an electrician, traveling as far as Georgia. As an electrician for over 20 years, he brought a zest to his work, and he will be forever shining and maintaining the lights in heaven. Brett’s 44 years with his family and friends brought laughter and entertainment. Brett was many things, a rock-climbing enthusiast, a Gonzaga basketball fan, a storyteller, angler, work perfectionist, a avid outdoorsman. On many days, you would not find Brett as he was out in the woods, on hikes as being outside is what he loved and was passionate for. From childhood throughout adulthood, his favorite place was under the Mawhinney willow trees. Brett had a love of all genres of music and playing the drums. Getting to play drums alongside childhood friends, Mike and Phil, and their band, was one of his most cherished moments. Friends were family and meant the world to Brett. Brett was greeted in heaven by his father, Virgil Clifford Lineback; paternal grandparents Rodney Claire and Mildred L; maternal grandparents Earl Ivah and Bonnie Jean; and uncles Jack, Gary, and Doug. Brett is survived by his wife Tricia Moss Lineback of 14 years, his son Colby Patrick Lineback, age 12, mother H. Lorraine Lineback, siblings Paul (Carolyn) Lineback and Heather (John) Smith. Extended family of numerous nieces and nephews; Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in Fernwood, ID, Seattle Area. The Badlands and Rapid City, South Dakota, Mobile, Alabama and Cope, CO; and Cousin Ricky of Spokane. Brett came into the world with a lot to say and he will be forever missed. We will be reminded of his legacy each and every day. A celebration of life will be conducted at 11am on August 20th at the Latah Country Bible Church.
