Beverly was born at Antwerp, New York, one of five kids to May and Andrew Bercume. She was loved and cared for by her step-dad Don Hayes. Beverly met her husband of 49 years at her younger sister Joanâ??s wedding. She followed Floyd through 20 years of Air Force life to their retirement home in Spokane, Washington. Beverly liked fishing for catfish and trout. Bowling was her choice of entertainment. She found many friends in the square dance world around Spokane. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, two sisters, and son Rodney Allen West. She is survived by son Daniel Lee West and husband Floyd James West. She will be cremated and joined with her husband at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake in the future. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Spokane, P.O. Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
