Betty J. Valentine (Walker) Was born September 11, 1933 to Jess and Theresa Walker in Mullan, ID and passed away on November 19, 2015 surround by family. She grew up in Cusick, WA until she was 17 and moved to Spokane, WA to work at St. Lukes Hospital. She continued her work as a CNA until she retired from Riverview Retirement Community in 1998. On June 14, 1958 she married the love of her life Henry "Al" Valentine. Betty had a huge heart and everyone who knew her felt her love. She always opened her home to anyone in need and impacted so many by doing so. Betty loved to have a good time, to be with friends, but most importantly she loved her family. Her favorite show was the Young and the Restless, rarely did she miss an episode. Betty is preceded in death by both parents, Theresa and Jess; Brothers, Larry and Jess; Sister, Barbara (Smiley); Husband, Henry; Daughter, Connie; and Granddaughter, Melinda. She is survived by: Sisters: Margaret "Ann" (Dave), Patricia "Sam", Mary "Pug" (Larry); Children: Kathy, Rick, Ray, Bonnie, Bob; Grandchildren: David, Dianna, Miranda, Justin, Tim, Jeffery, Kristina, Brandon, Dylan, Tina, Melissa, John, Nannetta, Maddy, and Roberta and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home located at 508 W. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. There will be a potluck following the service at 2303 E. Queen Ave, Spokane, WA 99217.
