Barbara Anne Johnson, 68, went to be with be with the Lord on January 22, 2019 in Spokane WA. Barbara was to born to Adelaide and Bill Johnson on February 11, 1950 in Spokane WA. Barbara was the oldest of four children. Barbara spent most of her life in Spokane. Barbara graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a Master’s in Education in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Barbara then taught for many years at Dynamic Christian Academy in Spokane. During this time, Barbara was also fostering many children within the Spokane’s foster care system. Barbara ended up adopting three boys; Brian, Allan, and Michael. All those who knew Barbara knew how blessed she felt being a mother to her boys. Barbara also spent many years after her boys were older working with the elderly at a retirement home. Barbara lived her entire life loving and caring for others. Barbara enjoyed teaching and fostering, but her true pride and joy were her five grandchildren. She embraced and cherished every moment she shared with them. Barbara made an impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Barbara leaves behind her three children Brian (Haylee) Allan, and Michael; Grandchildren Alexa, Dylan, Jalyn, Aaliyah, and Hank; Brothers Warren (Rhonda) Pete, and sister Jenny; Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
