LASH, William James - (Age 73) William "Bill" James Lash, of Spokane succumbed to cancer on Saturday July 23, 2016. He was born January 5, 1943 to William and Edna Lash. - He worked as a baker for Wonder Bread Hostess for over 25 years. He served in the Army Air Force National Guard where he was recognized for Aviation and as a Rifle Marksman. We can proudly say he made a lasting impression on everyone he met with his charm and amusing personality. He enjoyed watching John Wayne Westerns and listening to Elvis Presley, playing Santa Clause at Christmas time for the kids and spending time with family and friends. - William was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents and sister, Maureen Lash. He is survived by his son Guy (William) Lash; and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. William was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all. - A special thank you to the Hospice House in Spokane for their loving care and support. A private family ceremony will be held at Greenwood Memorial. The family would like to invite family and friends to a gathering to celebrate his life at The Longhorn Barbeque, 7611 W. Sunset Hwy, Airway Heights, Washington on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 3pm. - Remembrances may be made in the form desired by family and friends to 4626 N. Best Rd. Spokane, WA 99216.
