Obituary for Donald Roy Davis
Davis, Donald Roy (age 66)

Our dear son, brother and father went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2021. Don was born to Lyle Roy and Lorraine Ruby Davis on April 28, 1954 in Spokane where he lived his entire life. Don was preceded in death by his beloved father Lyle. He is survived by his Mother Lorraine, Brother Michael Davis (spouse Becky), Sister Teresa Bonser (spouse Joe), and partner Koleen Boyle.

Don is also survived by his 5 children, Kristopher Davis (and family), Brenda Cranford (and family), Briana Russ (and family), Kelli Trowbridge (and family) and Kassidy Morlan (and family). Don also has many additional Stepchildren, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Don, Mike and Teresa grew up in a time when things were simple and kids could be kids. Adventures in the foothills, riding bikes to the Hillyard pool, hunting for lizards in the nearby mountains, making a tent over moms clothes line to sleep under the stars and odd jobs like Don’s first job- a bicycle driven ice cream wagon. Those and many more memories growing up will be cherished, we had a wonderful childhood.

Don loved to build and had many years of successful remodels under his belt. But above all his favorite times were with family and friends at the lake where he loved fishing, waterskiing, parasailing and riding his jet skis. Many summers were spent hosting get togethers with friends and family, it brought him joy. He also loved to go salmon fishing on the Westcoast or on the Snake River. Many memories were logged with kids, sister, mom and big brother Mike.
Don followed his Dad Lyle in the watch repair business and was actually trained by his dad. He spent 30+ years running his own successful business in various locations until recently when his health forced him to retire.

From his brother Mike- Don you will be missed more than you know. I will always love you and cherish the many projects and fishing trips we shared. Rest in peace.

There will only be a small private service with family. Don requested he be cremated and his ashes scatter at his beloved lake.
