John Allen, age 74, of Spokane Valley entered into rest at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center on Saturday, December 19, 2020 after a long battle with multiple health issues.
At his request, there will be no services.
Born Jan Izydorczyk in Paderborn, Germany on April 21, 1946, he was the beloved son of Walenty and Maria Izydorczyk and brother of Maria. John grew up in the San Diego, California area and graduated from San Diego State University. He later relocated to the Los Angeles area, where he practiced as a CPA for over 25 years.
John married Ruth Parker on January 3, 1986. The family moved from Thousand Oaks, California to Spokane in 1994.
John is preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Lesa Carton (Rob).
He is survived by his wife; his children David (Fiona), Melissa (Tim), and Amy; and two grandsons, Christopher and Everet. He is also survived by his sister Maria (Bob) and nieces Andrea (Kenny), Kristina (Rob) and Jacque (Frank). He leaves behind numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.
