Edna Patricia Lockert

January 27, 1924 - February 13, 2014

January 27, 1924 - February 13, 2014 Pat quietly passed from this earth on February 13, 2014 at Riverview Care Center. She was born January 27, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to William & Edna Fisher. Shortly thereafter, the family moved near Massillon, Ohio. After graduation Pat joined the Navy and was a 3rd Class Specialist Q. While at a USO club she met the love of her life, Lionel R. Lockert, (Navy Petty Officer 1st Class). They were married in Washington D.C. on July 29th, 1945. Pat was a Stenographer/Secretary for McGraw Edison for a number of years and also worked as a Secretary at the Spokesman-Review until her retirement. Pat leaves behind her husband of 68 years, L.R. (Dick) Lockert, son, Rick Lockert (Darlene), granddaughter Shannon Hendrickson (Scott), and great-grandchildren Jade and Preston. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Fisher (Tucson, AZ) and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Fisher.
