Ann Williams

March 16, 1919 - September 22, 2014

Ann Williams was born on March 16, 1919 to Mike and Mary Sloviaczek on a ranch on the Salmon River near Boles, Idaho. She was the youngest of ten living children. She passed away at Manor Care Nursing Home on September 22, 2014. She met and married Don Williams in Cheney, Washington and was a long time Spokane resident. Ann spent her working years as a receiving clerk at the General Store. She is survived by her only child, daughter Darlene Thain (Steve) of Spokane and grandson Andy Taylor (Yoko) of Santa Barbara, California. She is predeceased by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters. She was a lover of dogs and cats, dancing (the jitterbug was her favorite) and cowboys. Ann was a wonderful Mom and Grandmother and will be missed dearly by her remaining family. We would like to thank all of the angels at Manor Care who were Momâ??s caregivers at the end of her life for their wonderful care and loving support of our family. Services will be held in October and will be announced at a later time. We love you Momer, Sissy and Stevie.
