Wilma Mae Lund

August 10, 1935 - January 11, 2017

LUND, Wilma M. (Age 81) - Wilma passed away of cancer on January 11, 2017. She was born to Christina Balbi and William Woods in Livingston, MT on August 10, 1935. Wilma was raised in Spokane where she graduated from Rogers High School. She loved to strut her stuff in the annual Lilac Parade as a member of the all-girl Marching Pirettes of Rogers High School. Wilma had a strong affection for books written by Danielle Steel. She loved to crochet and had a true green thumb. Wilma spoiled her 2 dogs Max and Geisha. Her favorite vacation was to Tahitis hidden gem Bora Bora. She loved the Tahitian fire dancers and outdoor BBQs. Wilma worked in banking until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Lund. They had sailed into wedded bliss in 1954. It was Wilmas final wish that friends and family meet at Red Robin to celebrate her amazing and wonderful life. Please contact Nina Huntley to make scheduling arrangements for this event. We would like to thank the residents and staff of Royal Park Health and Rehab for taking such great care of our aunt. Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
