MCMURRAY, William ""Mac"" Born May 22, 1950 in Iowa City, IA and passed away on May 26, 2014 at Sacred Heart in Spokane, WA. Mac graduated from Central Valley H.S. in 1968. He attended the U of WA before joining the Army, where he served as a pilot in Vietnam. Mac married his wife Susanne in 1973 and continued to reside in the Spokane area. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. and P.V.A. and also a member of Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association. Mac is survived by his wife Susie of Spokane; son Matthew (Karen); three granddaughters, Isabelle, Lily, and Cedar, all from Castle Rock, CO; special mother Verlaine Wier from Wallace, NE; and several brothers and sisters of the heart. He was preceded in the death by his son Willy McMurray. A Celebration of life will be held at the Seven Bays Community Center on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
