MAINE, William E. Age 75 William E Maine of Spokane Valley, WA passed away on June 10, 2021 after an extended illness. Bill was born in Spokane on January 11, 1946 to the late Earl and Margaret Maine. He graduated from Post Falls High School in 1964. Soon after he volunteered for the Navy and Viet Nam. He worked for Kaiser Aluminum for 32 years. He married his soul mate, Marlena (Huston) Maine, on December 23, 2000. He had three sons: Tom Maine of Arizona, Raymond (Renee) Maine, and Earl Maine, both of the Spokane area. He is also survived by three stepsons, Lance Huston of Seattle, Harry Huston, Topeka, KS, and Patrick Huston at the home; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren who he really enjoyed. Bill was an outdoorsman; he loved to fish, camp and snowmobile. He also enjoyed traveling the USA. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Heart Association or Shriners Hospital in Spokane. A celebration of life gathering will be scheduled at a future date.
