Bill had a full and fascinating life. He was involved in so many interesting things. He worked as a professional scuba diver, laid hard-wood floors, and owned his own business building computers which he was passionate about. He was also a salesman and a woodworker throughout his life.
Bill had many hobbies including woodworking, playing and watching football, mountain climbing, playing underwater hockey, and pickleball. He loved animals and the outdoors and cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was fond of children, often engaging and teasing them because he was, himself, always a kid at heart.
Bill was a fighter and looked at every day as a blessing. He survived two bouts of cancer in his twenties. He had two heart attacks and later ended up with a spinal cord injury which slowly took the use of his legs and hands. Through all of the physical ailments he experienced, he was still a blessing to those around him. He was positive, enjoying those around him, and never knew a stranger. He didn’t hesitate to ask “Do you know Jesus?” Just as his beloved spiritual mother, Jean Heinzerling showed him. Bill accepted Jesus as his personal savior at the age of 19. Up until his last breath, he was a believer in Jesus. He would ask you today “Do you know Jesus?”
