Updated: Jan 25

April 01, 1985 - October 28, 2023

Troy Donivin Maute passed on October 28th, 2023 in Spokane, Washington. He was 38 years old. Born on April 1st, 1985 to Kimberlee Jean Maute in Colville, Washington. Troy spent his school years in Deer Park, Washington where he grew up enjoying fishing, camping, snowboarding, and motor sports. After high school, he moved to Spokane, Washington and started a career as a cook. He valued his time at places like Anthony’s and the kitchens of the Davenport Hotel, and so was pursuing a degree in the Culinary Arts at Spokane Falls Community College. As an aspiring chef, Troy hoped to one day own his own restaurant. Troy was a resolutely devoted father, a beloved son, and a true friend. Troy loved with his whole heart and the amount of gratitude and emotional empathy he poured out to his loved ones was immense. Making his family proud of him was a driving ambition. He was constantly striving to be the best man and the best father he could be. Survived by family and friends that love him fiercely and forever. And predeceased by his loving grandma. We will be welcoming all who loved him on Saturday, November 18th, at 1:00 PM at Deer Park Church of the Nazarene. 305 N Margaret, to be followed by a celebration of love and life from 2-5pm at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Deer Park. 12 W South Ave
