Obituary for Tina Smith
Tina Louise Smith, age 49, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. She was born April 18, 1969 in Spokane to Travis “Carl” and Maryland Louise Smith. She was a 1987 graduate of Shade Park High School. She would go on later to graduate from Spokane Community College with an Associated Degree in Paralegal. She worked in the Spokane area as a Paralegal until she became ill with Breast Cancer.
Tina was preceded in death by Mollie and Jasper Stanley (Nana & Papa), along with her mother and father. Tina very much loved her two children who survive her, Jacob & Chelsie. She also lovingly adored her two grandsons, Brycen (5) and Tristan (2), who called her “Bunny”. She is also survived by her step dad, Greg Gooch and Sisters Teresa Sobkowiak (Spouse Joe Tyllia), Dorthea Gooch (Spouse Crystal Gooch), Krystina and Amandalynn Gooch. Nieces and nephews; Kayla and Christopher Sobkowiak and Kaylee Gooch.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date where friends and family may come to reminisce, grieve, and support each other in remembrances of Tina
