Celebrating the life of Thomas Earl Larson
Be the first to share your favorite memory, photo or story of Thomas. This memorial page is dedicated for family, friends and future generations to celebrate the life of their loved one.
We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
During the war he was stationed in Saipan, and the few survivors of his unit formed lifelong friendships. They called themselves the Sad Sacks and with their wives often met for reunions. He was the last of them.
He was successful in his career with the Great Northern, later Burlington Northern Railroad, receiving several promotions along the way. His family was very important to him until his last days. He will be remembered as a man who had a great sense of humor, always ready with a joke and smile. He will be greatly missed. A private memorial will be held at a future date.
We would like to extend our appreciation to Hospice of Spokane and the staff at Brookdale, who provided excellent and compassionate care.
