Obituary for Susan Rae Ruddell
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Rae Ruddell from Ephrata, Washington, she was born 4/10/43 in Kirkland, Washington to Myrtle and Lewis Stickley, and she passed away on 05/30/23 at the age of 80.
After graduation in 1961 Susan went to work for PEMCO insurance and continued to work in the industry until her marriage to Fredrick Hooper in Caldwell, Idaho in June 1967. After that she was a stay-at-home mom. In 1972 the family moved to Ephrata, Washington for Fredrick’s job with the Grant County PUD. After a time, Susan went to work at Lamb Weston as a grower accountant and held various positions at the Quincy Plant. She continued working for Lambs after leaving Quincy to work at the corporate level until her retirement after 38 years with the company. Susan loved spending time with family and especially her grandkids. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
She was predeceased by: Parents Myrtle Stickley (Holmes) and Lewis Stickley; Sisters Karen Ellis, Marilyn Telgenhoff, and her husband Fredrick Hooper. Susan is survived by her children Cherie Moore, Arlene Berry, Stepchildren Marcie Dolar, James Hooper. Her grandchildren, Bryan, Kyle, Laruen, Marie, James, Theresa, Jeremy, and Jason.
