Obituary for Sandra Mae Smith
Sandra Mae Smith passed away on September 14, 2021. Sandra was born May 28, 1940, in Spokane, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents Percy & Viola Smith and a nephew Brad Smith. She is survived by her brother Ernie (Lynn) Smith of Frisco, Texas; sister Darlene Smith of Spokane, WA; nephews Kevin Smith of Scranton, Arkansas; Greg Smith of Garland Texas; godson Michael Hawley and his family in Spokane, WA.

Sandy graduated from North Central High School in 1958. She helped organize many of her high school reunions which she always loved. She retired from Pacific NW Bell after several years of service and was active in the telephone pioneers. Sandra was able to visit her family roots in Sweden and enjoyed visiting her many relatives. She volunteered at the neighborhood cop shop and was very active in her community.

Sandy was a very vibrant and fun-loving personality. She loved life and had a way of making people laugh and have fun. May you rest in peace, “Maenerd”. Donations in Sandra’s name can be made to a charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 11:00AM at Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park followed by an inurnment at 12:30PM.
