was born to Duane and Patricia Sanger and later raised by Duane and Nancy Sanger. She
traveled a lot during her school years and graduated high school in South Bend Washington in
1980. After high school she moved to Spokane and started working for “Witherspoon Kelley,
Davenport and Tool” a law firm in the old “ONB” building. She worked at Witherspoon Kelley,
Davenport and tool for 34 years until 2016 doing various office jobs.
Robin married Robert T. Balow on November 14th 1999 when she became Robin M.
Balow. We were quickly blessed with 2 children. Racine Rose Balow on January 18th 2001 and
Russell Perry Balow on September 11th 2003. Shortly after we moved to Newport Washington to
raise our children. Family was always the most important part of Robin’s life but she also
enjoyed good food, bad jokes, cheap whiskey, old Fords, “Dr. Hook”, and waterfalls. Sounds like
a strange mix I know, but that was Robin.
Robin left this world April 27th 2022, after a short but brutal fight with cancer, to spend
an eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ. Robin left behind parents, husband, children, brothers,
sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and many others she touched during her life. All
of whom loved her, miss her, and will keep her memory alive in our hearts and actions.
You are missed. Rest in Peace.
The Memorial service will be held at American Lutheran Church, 332801 Highway 2
Newport Washington, on Saturday May 21st at 3:00.
