Obituary for Robert N. Calhoun
Bob passed away on March 20, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. He is remembered as a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by so many people.
He was a successful realtor/salesman for most of his career in three west coast states. In his spare time he enjoyed deep sea fishing, boating and hunting. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas F. and Dorothy L. Calhoun. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marlene; three children, Catherine (Bill) Biggs, Robert (Sherri), and David (Jessica); three grandchildren, Amanda Biggs, Robbie Calhoun, and Brett Biggs; and brother, Father Lawrence Calhoun.
The family is grateful for the attentive, kind staff that provided the compassionate care he received during his battle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth St., Santa Monica, CA 90401.
Memorial service is to be held on March 26, 2013, at 3:00 PM, at St. John Vianney Church, 503 N. Walnut Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.
